Singer & songwriter, his mix of Smooth Jazz, R&B and Soul has stirred deep feelings among his fans who keep coming back for more. He has performed before such stars as Don King, Rick James, Barry Gibb, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson & Prince VIP Parties. Brought up in New York City, proved to be fertile ground for his music. Blind since 6 years old, he started his career at 9 on the drums, then began playing the piano at 14 with lessons from blind artist Valerie Capers. The genesis of his music career was really blessed when he was booked at such notable clubs as The Village Gate in Greenwich Village, The New Cotton Club and many after hour clubs in New York City. To his many credits, he wrote “Misty Morning” for Ollie Woodson’s album, one of the original Temptations. He played Clavinet for Super Star Bennie King for his album “Super Natural”. Ricky has played with Bette Midler, Peter Niro, Roy Ayers, Sister Sledge, and Luther Vandross. .

Hi My Name is Ricky Williams I am a musician From NYC, blind since 6 learned to play piano with the help of Valerie Capers ( also blind) Owned my own studio and played at some of the most famous Jazz Clubs in NYC. The Vanguard, Apollo, Village Gate, Blue Note, Count Basie's etc.
I have over 1500 original compositions and recorded them using the music software "Logic" The same one Stevie Wonder uses. I have worked with Stevie on Superstition and the LP "Stevie Wonder Songbook" and sat in on many sessions at the Record Plant and Electric Lady studios . Some of my other credits include recording and playing with the great Ben E King, Bette Midler, Temptations, Roy Ayres, Peter Nero, Patti LaBelle and a Coors & Luther Vandross,
I play Piano, Drums, Guitar & Bass. I arranged and play all the instruments you hear on my records.
